How much knowledge was destroyed when the library at Alexandria was on fire and consumed all the books written up to then? What could have been can never be known. What was destroyed can never be accessed. So far some of it cannot even be replicated. They are mysteries. How did they come to be so long ago without all the tools and machinery we have today? Any theories?
