Bills I used to pay in person I stopped doing mid-march and MAIL all of them. We are in a badly managed pandemic. It is an election year. Delay of mail will not be beneficial to anyone but a bottom line.
Where are you on this issue? Fewer hours worked means less mail processed means less mail delivered. Slows it down.
What would YOUR solution be?
Oh, so it’ll be just like it was here last Christmas. If they want to speed things up and save money, hire people who actually do their job! Our carrier is always on his phone (hands free). Not a day goes by that he doesn’t have to back up the street and redeliver the mail because he forgot to deliver it all the first time (when he has packages is even worse!!!). And they wonder why he never gets done until 8 at night.
Yes, they should eliminate OT (except in emergencies). I'm sure some carriers “milk” their shifts just to get the OT. We had a big problem with that in the grocery business. Eliminating all OT put a stop to it.
