    Because life isn’t fair.   A group of idiots here got together for a party up on the ridge on July 4th (no masks, no social distancing), so now COVID cases here are skyrocketing.  If life were fair, these selfish idiots would have been the only ones to get sick.  Now over 100 innocent people (who were doing as they were told) may be infected, just because they happened to encounter these fools.

    Everything we do can (and does) affect others.  We are foolish to think otherwise.

    That exact scenario was replicated all over the country Shuhak. The selfish stupid dumbs spread it and still do for all I know. It surely isn't fair. This is not a situation of small consequence. It's not like having loud neighbors play their music so loud you can't sleep. This is that they infect you with and it is a life-threatening disease and if you survive you do so with permanent damage or you die. But they think not of any of that. They think not at all about anything but instant pleasure and sating themselves with whatever their lusts demand. We aren't simply annoyed at the boorish crass low-class behavior. We die from being exposed to it. They are unaware because they do not care. So was "up on the ridge" in your neck of the woods m'dear? Condolences. Is your sister and the rest of the family okay? California has now eclipsed New York and there is no knowing how far up the surge spike will go. Thanks to the braindead stupid dumbs and their more braindead "holy grail leader" der speigleman! SIGH.  Thank you for your reply! :)

    The Ridge is about 25 miles up the highway.  The place is barely a dot on a map and has no amenities. People go there to get away from “the law” (it used to be a marijuana growing hot spot before it was legalized). 

    Currently everyone in my family is fine.

    Good on you and yours Shuhak. Where you live is far less populated...well San Francisco is crowded but you're far enough away. The fewer the people the smaller the threat...theoretically. Thank you for your reply! :)
