When one "steps down" it is due to one's own action. Leaving on one's own for whatever reason.
Being fired on the other hand can come out of the blue without the firee's knowledge.
The FIRER says "he stepped down". The Firee says "I was fired".
Why the lie? Why say "He stepped down" when the truth was "he was fired"? Of what value was that lie? What was the purpose of the lie? Whom did it help to do what when where? Who was it intended to harm?
Lying for its own sake makes no sense. Lying for purpose does. All cowards lie to cover their a**es because they know they did wrong and they are too chickensh** to admit it. Okay. Got. A defect of homo saps.
But lying for no reason when the truth is perfectly acceptable is very bizarre weird odd peculiar and evidence of some defect of the brain.
So many pols are brain defective and they lie 24/7 about everything something nothing anything.
