I expect they got off on fooling people...making fools of them unbeknownst to them. The terribles the horribles the gawdawfuls. I expect they show up everywhere all the time and have since forever and forever will to the end of time and beyond to infinity.
Why? Because some are so malformed and defective that is what they do to "feel alive".
The two of whom I knew hurt people very badly in different ways. There may well have been other fakes as well. Some who were DUPED were crushed and left the site.
What terribles horribles awfuls did they do?
Both pretended they were living tragic lives. Very different from each other. One male/one female. So SINCERE in details. They sucked folks in bigtime. And played them and tricked them. I expect they shared their triumphs with their own ilk and maybe matched story for story and had great laughs at the expense of their targets. I do not know if they knew each other. Maybe they did. Doesn't matter.
What would YOU do if someone broke your heart sharing his/her TRAGIC life only to find out it was all a SCAM? That would break your heart even more.
Scabs and scum come in all kinds of packaging. Be warned and beware. If the story is too tragic? Back away.
