As heard on TV. "The more COMPETENT a woman is the less we LIKE her". WHAT? Is that true for you? Why?

So the obvious meaning of that is if you want to be popular don't be too competent?

And if competence is your goal don't expect to be liked?

WHOA! So how come and WHY if THAT'S TRUE for women it isn't also true for men? Anyone?
