The child within me is alive and well. I am afraid to abandon her and move on. If I were to do that whom would I be/become?

Is your child still alive within you or did you move on long ago? If so ever regret it?

    Oh yes, I'm always going to be a big kid at heart. Honestly you are never too old to enjoy what you love. If you abandon the child inside you, it will only make you feel saddened in the long run. Keep on keeping happy, and enjoy what you like.
