Ever hear of WATSON? A computer that can "read" a million books a second. I t"lives"/works in North Carolina doing cancer research. Amazed?

Watson is doing its residency in Chapel Hill, North Carolina learning about cancer.  It will be able to  "read" all papers that come out and digest the info and can be used as a source for doctors
who are diagnosing. Something like 8000 papers a day are released on the subject. Doctors cannot possibly keep up with the literature. They often don't know about the newest advances because they didn't have the time to read about it. What do you think of Watson?

    Old news.

Watson even played Jeopardy against two well-known winners (Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter) and beat both of them. That was about five-years ago.
