Thus we are between a rock and a hard place.
They don't want to be saved. They want to be left alone to live their lives as they wish. What happens to you is not their problem. If they don't value life enough to save themselves do you really think they give a rat's a** about you? If so you really are gullible.
So once again we are victims of the selfish the greedy the ignorant the seedy the needy the creepy.
Any solution to it? Not that I can see. So every day in every way we go on this way until we go on no more because we got sick and died. Eventually it will happen to everyone. So we die "before our time" at the hands of others (or due to their actions...same thing).
Will tomorrow be that day?
