How do YOU define the difference between a HERO and a COWARD?

Here's mine.

A HERO is willing to give his/her life to save the lives of others.

A COWARD is willing save his/her life by taking the lives of others or setting them up to die by his cowardice and indifference

COWARD or HERO? There is not a fine line between the two. THERE IS A VAST DIVIDE.
