Corruption could not exist without the consent of others. Would you prefer that corrupters were held accountable and punished?

Or are you pleased when corrupters get away with it? In the olden days sometimes some in a theater audience would cheer for the "bad guys". Not often but sometimes and I always wondered why? Do you KNOW WHY? Ho often do YOU cheer for the "bad guy"? Why?
