Per Forbes magazine the breakout of wealthy families donating to political parties is kinda interesting. What did Forbes report?

Of the 50 wealthiest American families, 28 out of the 50 donate to Republicans
7 of the wealthiest donate to Democrats
15 of the wealthiest DONATE TO BOTH

If true why is that the repubbaccan candidate is too poor to run ads but the Dem is rolling in dough?
