On the other hand some religions FORBID their followers from being involved in politics.
So the ability to DO GOOD is limited to those around you. DO GOOD via politics means you can affect hundreds of millions of people.
So is GOD confused? Can HE not make up HIS mind? Does HE set both before us and just lets us choose which HE means more?
Anyone else wonder too about this? I dare not call it HYPOCRISY on the part of GOD. But it sure seems like it. Now could it possibly be that it is not GOD who is hypocritical and contradictory but the imperfect human beings who allegedly wrote down THE WORD OF GOD? I'm just asking. I don't KNOW. Do you?
