A confident person EXPECTS success .The dumb cluck duck is always preparing himself and his peeps for FAILURE! WHY IS THAT?
He expects to fail. He expects to lose. He expects to be rejected.
So in advance of his expectations he tries to convince folks that when he loses it isn't his fault. The mark of the LOSER. Which is what he is. I think he knows it.
