He believes they are so besotted with him and that he is so charismatic they will believe only him and listen only to him as he INSISTS what is being reported is fake and "we are turning the corner" is all they believe.
Meanwhile more are becoming ill with the virus and hospitals are being overwhelmed and more people are dying. The number will increase accelerate change for the worse but he will continue to robotically repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat and they will hyponotically believe believe believe only him.
They live in dumb cluck duck world. They are like those three monkeys...deaf dumb(unable to speak) blind.
Indeed they are deaf to reality blind to reality and dumb (unable to speak) to reality. They exist only in him of him by him for him.
