Two families are in the spotlight with the presidential race. In both we see men who are unfaithful and women who do not mind. The new norm?

I'm curious how this is seen. Is it becoming norm for couples to openly cheat?
When I think about it I do not know myself whether I should care. I think that I do not care and I think that is interesting because ten years younger I am sure I would care.
Maybe it is happier for couples if the man is able to have flings with young women and the woman is able to be free of his advances as her desire goes down?
I could never live this myself but I wonder what it will be for the next generation.

I think it is presumptuous to say they do not mind.  I doubt their public statements reflect their true feelings.

Btw, it is also presumptuous to assume that a woman's desire for sex declines.
