How much goes geographical location have to do with political orientation? The WEST COAST is solid blue. Much of the EAST COAST is too! WHY?
The "heartland" is solid red as is much of the south. People are trapped in the middle in the "heartland". They go stir crazy possibly? Like being in prison? No freedom? Puzzling.
