We can't KNOW for sure but it's unlikely that the person who lost will be helfpul at all. Or even attend the swearing in. What will he do?

I think we don't expect anything of him that a standard regular typical ordinary normal president who was leaving the office would do. He has trained everyone to never expect anything normal from him.
