Though I'm also pretty sure I've heard him say the exact opposite once or twice too.
In one presidential debate, old Joe also said (again, I quote): 'I never said I opposed fracking' (after which, as you recall, President Trump reminded him that he had).
Is there any so far un-removed video accessible via YouTube of him retracting his affirmation to continue fracking, and his explanation for why he changed his mind (as if we didn't already suspect why?)

    If this is a really serious question Google it and get your own answer.

    There's plenty of info out there. Maybe you'll even find something Trump said that isn't a lie.

    Any indication as to why he changed his mind. Not that we would likely believe his excuse, but it might prove of interest, and fun to pull it apart in the usual politically sarcastic manner..

    Because he wanted to win votes in Penn and other states that use fracking.
