Because the leaders of foreign countries we used to be friendly with and allies of have all sent him congratulatory messages and are anxious and happy to work with him. Many of them he knows from being in the Senate for years or as the vice president to President Obama. If McConnell is still the majority leader he will make sure nothing gets done at all. You can count on him for that. Perhaps he will have a heart attack or stroke. Anything is possible. Perhaps he will get COVID and pass away. Who knows what the future holds?.
So all is not looking dim and dire. Perhaps a miracle will occur and the DEMS will have the Senate Majority. Keep the House majority. AND perhaps Justice Kavanaugh will continue to align himself with Justice Roberts and not thomas, a rubber stamp for scalia, who died a few years ago.
