Surrounding oneself with dumb creeps into all orificies and through the skin. Seeps in and establishes a stronghold from which more dumb comes with every passing day.
Once infected with/by DUMB there is no turning back. It is permanent and not retractable.
A life of Dumb is what some seek. Some don't.
