In the fall of 1959 at age 13 duck was sent away from home to live at New York Military Academy for 5 years. Think that changed him?

Think he might have perceived it as a REJECTION of him and that explains why being rejected by anyone anywhere at any time is something he cannot tolerate? Those who do reject the duck pay for it bigly eternally severely.


If that had never happened would duck be a different person?
