Would you fire an employee who told you what you NEEDED to know even if it were not something you "WANTED" to know?

It would depend on HOW they told me.  If they were respectful or not.

I said something to my commanding officer. He needed to know it, but didn't like it. He caused my Navy career to come to a halt. I would not fire an employee for that.

That sucks bigly but you know you did the right thing. It's too bad some folks don't appreciate TRUTHTELLERS. They come in all sizes shapes and professions. The non-appreciators. Would you have wanted to continue on E had it not been for that? Retire from the service after x amount of years and then perhaps find another avenue/profession? That's really sad. Thank you for your reply! :)
