What's the longest goodbye you can remember? The FAREWELL TOUR that wasn't. The comeback tour then another final farewell tour?

Which entertainer or group just could not get off the stage? Kept hanging on and clinging well past OLD AGE?
Embarrassing at all even a little bit or were you happy to see 70 year olds skittering across the stage as they did when they were 20? Kinda sad even a little bit?
