Imagine a time in the long ago when part of one's inheritance would be other people? Slaves and their families were property. Property?

Employees are "owned" by their company heads. That is to say their time for which they get paid belongs to the owner.

Servants are "owned by their employers. That is to say their time for which they get paid. They are willing hires who can leave at any time.

Slaves were owned by their 'masters'. They had no option of leaving because they were the property of other humans. They had no sovereignty autonomy freedom.

Slavery was abolished so I guess that took care of people owning people legally. But emotionally mentally the ilk of slave owners still believe they are superior to and masters of "the other". That cannot be mandatred away. It is ingrained within the dna and here to stay. Everyone knows it.

So when descendants of former slaves attain power and status and authority the throwbacks to "before" get all uppity and unhappy and upset. Again it is nothing they can change or control. They are it. Their people were it. There progeny will be it. Forever.

Lesson learned. Nothing ever changes. What goes around comes around. And goes around. And comes around. And goes around.
