Supposedly, his deal was to only hold the position for 130 days, so his term was ending anyway. The better question is why didn't Trump put someone in that position who knew something about pandemics?
There are few people in Trump's administration that are truly qualified to hold that job. Fortunately, come January, we won't have to worry about it and if Georgia is smart, they will vote so that McConnell is out of the Senate. If they let him remain, virtually nothing will get done for another four years for any of us.
Is anyone in the duck universe QUALIFIED L? I mean he goes out of his way to pick an EPA head who hates environmental protections. He picked a snooty wealthy bit** whose entire education was in private schools to head the Department of Education. He has done that same exact thing in every appointment. My point exactly! His administration has been a revolving door, so I have no idea who's still left. Barr better watch out for the bus Trump is going to throw him under.
I think barr finally is trying to save himself. Too late for that. Too much water under that bridge. So far the duck has said diddly. I think it's because he knows barr is way smarter than he is and is afraid to go off on him. I don't know. One by one his protection is peeling away from him. We know what coward he is. I believe that when he finds phrases that he thinks click with his base, he uses them again and again. He probably doesn't remember half of what he says or to whom.
His vocabulary is incredibly narrow. Never reading helps dumb stay dumb. Bet he never has used a dictionary to look up a word. I shall ask. Thank you for your rely L! :)

We are not allowed to have anyone inside our homes who doesn't live with us. Of course how that will be monitored and what the consequences would be of ignoring that I have no clue. You forgot the word "hoax." I saw this morning that Gov. Newsom has tightened the reins. There really is no way to enforce that and it encourages people to report on their neighbors (does the word "Nazis" ring a bell?) I'm guessing he just throws it out there in the hopes that people will comply. We are just at the beginning of the winter and I don't see this abating any time soon. I saw something this morning about there being a problem with the vaccine supply chain. I suspect that having to keep Pfizer's vaccine so cold could be the problem. That is one of the reasons why, if I do get vaccinated, I will only choose Moderna's. If I can't choose, I won't get the shots. If the meds are not stored properly, it won't be evident until it's too late.
As you know I am very suspicious of the fast tracking. PROBLEMS ARE OFTEN FOUND 2-3 years into the trials. SEVERE problems which causes them to JUNK the drug. So what happens if 330 million get injected only to find that it was far worse than the virus? Sheesh. We can't win for trying it seems. Thank you for your reply L! :)
I asked a question about this today L. I talked to a very knowledgeable friend on Friday. There is a VAST difference between vaccines (injections) and drugs. A vast difference. Injections get almost immediate results vis a vis side effects whereas pills could take months or even longer. The protocols are very difference since the medium of introduction into the body is very different. Which relieves me of a lot of anxiety. I did not realize that the difference was so great. So when Dr. Fauci gives his OK on a particular vaccine I will get it when it's my turn. Knowing helps in deciding. I thought it was important enough to devote a question to it. I hope people read it. Good. From some of the reports I've been reading, they are going to be considerably short of doses well into 2021, so by that time, they will have more information on how well it works.
I'm pretty sure Canada closed the border to Americans since they elected pandora trump (aka lucy). They figger any people who are that stupid dumb they don't need or want in their country. SIGH. Thank you for your reply L. I had a chat with Nanoose about that very thing months ago asking for dispensation since we were pals. He was gentle. He was kind. He was very respectful. But the answer was NO! You could try it though! :)
I believe the Canadian border may still be closed to us. I'm not surprised, not am I offended. Countries do what they have to do to keep themselves safe.
I'd keep us out too. Guilt by association. Look at the "leader" elected in 2016? Look at the 74 million who voted for him AGAIN! Geez what a bunch of wackadoodlenoodles! The 81 million of us who voted for Joe aren't distinguishable superficially. So it's safer for Canada to block all of us. I'd do the same thing if I were them. Thank you for your reply L! :)
