The power to impeach a corrupt president is moot academic irrelevant when those with the power to impeach are equally corrupt. Inept?

The Framers/Founding Fathers thought they had covered the event of a CORRUPT president by including the power to impeach.

What they were too naive to consider was what would happen if those with the power were in collusion with the corrupt president?

They could not imagine that I expect. They certainly were not foresighted or brilliant enough to even think about that.

Here we are. We have the right to "shoot to kill" figuratively but when those in charge of the bullets discard them well then we are up a creek without a paddle.

So much for lack of imagination. See what it brought to our doors?
