What good have mobs ever done for anyone? Why are so many people TERRIFIED of being alone on their own having to think for themselves? Groupthink is very popular. Everyone agrees within the group. Those who don't are shunned or kicked out or insulted or attacked or threatened or targeted and destroyed. The rules are rigid. YOU FOLLOW THEM OR ELSE!
Those who belong find that very comforting. Like daddy telling you what you have to do. They do what daddy tells them. SIGH.
