Can you tell me why Safari won't allow me to use Google search?

This started yesterday. Whenever I used to just search on Safari search engine, I could. Now I have to find Yahoo search before I can search. Yahoo doesn't allow a lot of searches. Now I can't even google you tube. Can you tell me how to fix this? My settings are still set the same. But something did happen.

    You know Yahoo was bought out.  It may have  something to do with it.  It's easy enough to make another search engine the default in your browser.

    Change your browser.  Change your search engine and get the heck away from Safari and Yahoo.

  • On a Mac?
    Safari-->Preferences-->Search
    There should be a drop down with the default.
