He has always said he does not like the massive spending bills. And has said for a while that he wanted more than the $1200 like last time. No changes, on his part.
He had months and months to work with Congress and didn't bother. Democrats wanted larger checks and the Republicans wanted no checks. The spending he objects to was requested by his own administration. He doesn't care about anything or anyone but himself and he just did this to feel important. Will it happen? Probably not.
