People who work in an industry know it best. True/un?

Per Hillary Clinton. Makes sense doesn't it?

Mostly true.   People who work in an industry but do a bad job and do not listen, know very little.  Hillary Clinton is not one of those people who know very little.  She is very accomplished.   Trump doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground.

Well...I doubt if the CEO of Fiat knows how to build a Jeep anymore than a Jeep worker could run an industry. It all depends on your position in the hierarchy. This post was edited by Element 99 at October 17, 2016 11:00 AM MDT

Wouldn't the best CEO have worked his way up the ladder by doing all the jobs in the company so he can actually lead the folks because he knows what it takes  to build a car? Thank you for your reply ele! :)

Yes and therefore we should deregulate the banks or only put on regulations that do nothing but look good and make the public happy. If you vote for hillary you are in favor of  the free-for-all that the banks enjoyed and used to put the economy into a bubble and then a recession. Her full speeches are available now and she has never said anything to the banks other than to express her love for everything they do and regret that she had to act tough with them to make it look good for her stupid supporters. What a great candidate. But that is what happens when you are paid millions by the banks.  She has literally been paid millions of dollars by the banks in speaking fees, and this isn't even including the millions they donate to her charity and campaign. The people who defend her over this are unreal.

No.  Workers generally know their job and that's it.  Most do not have a big picture of how the industry works from A to Z,  nor do they desire to.
