Some are loners and walk their own paths and if they're lucky they will occasionally encounter others like themselves and short-term walk the path together.
Feels good to know you are understood and valued.
A basic need of homo saps? Solitude and solitary are thrust upon some due to circumstances. Some CHOOSE it. But I'm not sure there is any homo sap who ever lived who didn't want to be in the company of others at times.
To be validated by others. To matter to someone.
