Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» So I'm informed by a Mug friend that the "head" redlined it and he might still hold out for $2000. Know what? I wouldn't mind it! Would you?
Oh. Well we are and we won't turn it down. It's such a strange odd bizarre turn of events. Something the DEMS wanted in the frst place and the "HEAD" for some wackadoodlenoodle "reason" insists on it much to the chagrin/consternation of his GOP peeps pals toady sycophants. How does it end? What's in it for him? I can't figger it out my friend. Thank you for your reply. No one can depend on him for anthing. He turns against everyone all the time. And there there were none! Thank you for your reply L! :)
I'm happy that you guys are going to get a check. I know there are a lot of folks who need that boost. I don't know where it ends because even once Trump is out of office, the damage he's done to this country will linger for some time.
((hugs)) See why I adore you? Thank you sweetie. We don't really NEED it but well we sure could USE it. I expect there are many folks like us. We won't starve or be out on the streets or be unable to pay our bills without it but we can have a bit more wiggle room which is always good to have no matter whom you are or what your financial status. How do you think this will end L? Will the Senate be forced to pass it or will McConnell refuse? That can't be good for the GOP. I have no idea which way it will go. Do you? :)

LOL ... I have a dear friend who said the same thing - she won't starve without that check, but it's sure nice to know there's a cushion in the bank for a rainy day. What I object to is the money that gets funneled into the big corporations which are already sitting on piles of cash and don't need it. I'm sure that some of those Payroll Protection payments have gone to companies that have laid off employees in spite of the windfall. I don't know what McConnell will do. I'm guessing he will take the pulse of his party and see where they come down on the issue. In some perverse way, I hope they don't agree and, because of that, they lose the Senate.
Reaching back in the past from August 28, 2021 ia kinda nifty. On December 29 we didn't know January 6 was in our immediate future. I wonder what we would have done had we known? What do you think? Thank you for your reply L! :)
