An Answermug friend reminded me that "head" said 'they should have stopped counting when he was ahead'! How profound is that?

So the massive loss "head" enjoyed was simply due to the counters.

If only they had stopped counting when he was ahead.
If they only had stopped counting when he was ahead.

Obviously all the counters had it in for him and kept counting.

Brilliance comes in all sizes and colors and flavors and configurations. The brilliance of the "head" is astonishing.
