"White"? How do you define that? The writers and many of its early editors of Middle Eastern stock. The versions we know were edited by Europeans though.
They probably all were men though. The Bible is fairly clearly male-first, and very obviously so in deeming God to be male, reflecting a patriarchal community.

A good point that - and the books themselves, even the Epistles, were indeed all pre-Christian. Christianity just sorted a collection of them into its own anthology.
