He praised the troops for their patriotism and courage throughout. He said "you're the finest generation of warriors the world has ever known." He had also praised them for their "incredible sacrifices that they made for our country".
Also and pertinent. Among African Americans they sometimes refer to one another using the "N" word. I'm not sure why m but understanding is that it is said with no malice or hate. In fact it is said to be "affectionate". However no one else dare use that term.
So in closing Joe Biden did in fact say "stupid bas**rds". The troops laughed. Do you really think they would have laughed Joe not told them how awesome they were?
