The deeper I get into trying to grasp inflation rates the more confused I am. The stats are all over the place. Do YOU get it?

Here is where I started

HUNGARY August 1945-July 1946 Daily equivalent rate of inflation 207%
ZIMBABWE March 2007 - Mid November 2008  Daily equivalent rate 98%
YUGOSLAVIA  April 1992 -January 1994  Daily 64.6%....1971-1991 annualized rate 76%

Then I checked out VENEZUELA

This is what I got and I have no idea what to do with it.

2015 inflation rate was 181%
2016   800%
2017 4000%
2018 1,700,000 %
2019 10,398% per year

I did not invent those numbers. Do they make sense to you because they don't to me. HELP!
