The BOND Q portrayed and most often played by actor Desmond Wilkinson Llewelyn.
The de Lancie Q lives in the "Q CONTINUUM" an ALTERNATE DIMENSION accessible only to Q, the Q and invited guests.
The BOND Q was head of the division that provided Bond with all the nifty gadgets and thinkamajibs.
Allegedly patterned after someone in M16 and shall always be nameless but was outed genderly as having been a WOMAN not a man in the real life M16.
There have been other mysterious Q's in literature here and there. But the two most bestest known are the Star Trek and the Bond incarnations iterations.
So Q of the QANONS is not creative nor imaginative nor inventive. He is a plagiarist unless he did give credit to the ORIGINAL namesakes. Being as how I have no knowledge of what/whom Q is I do not know if he/she/it/they take credit where credit is not due. Do you?
