A more absurd statement could not be made. It it could the FOOTOO FOOLS would have made it.

So on we trudge through the sludge listening to lies and denies. What has changed? I don't know. The structure of the house is the same. The words coming out of the oval office at radically unsame. But well words don't pay the rent or buy the food do they?

    It will "divide" us because the ones who backed the fool still back him.  They refuse to see anything other than the lies he spewed.  And the ones in charge who backed him (even up to that fateful day) will lose face if he's convicted... because they know that they are guilty as well.  Guilty of aiding and abetting (at the least).  They will say or do anything keep their asses out of the fire.  And the best way to do this is to feign innocence and get everyone to look in a different direction.  (ignore the criminals behind the curtain)
