Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» I wonder which gender might be more likely to have an averse reaction to a vaccine? Women maybe or men perhaps? Anyone know?
I don't think that either sex is more prone than the other, to adverse reactions from any vaccine.
Some reactions are allergies to particular ingredients in the mix, rather than the active ingredient. I was asked if I am allergic to eggs when I went for my flu jab last year, because the particular vaccine included albumen.
Know what Durdle? I don't remember anyone ever asking me if I were allergic to anything when I given a vaccine. So they ask you each time? Thank you for your reply. I wonder if those who are obese require double doses? I shall ask.
