Hal Holbrook lived a long life and died January 23 at the age of 95. Did you enjoy his acting?

He was married to actress Dixie Carter (she died in 2010) for just two years. She starred in Designing Women if you remember the show.

    I saw his stage performance as Mark Twain when I was stationed in Charleston, SC in the mid 70s. Superb.
