Trump has made zero sustained focused purposeful attempt to broaden his base. Zero. Zilch. Nada. He keeps playing to the same old base he has owned lock stock and barrel since he won the Republican nomination! They ain't goin' nowhere. Neither is he apparently. He likes where he is stuck/stalled and has no plans to move forward.
