Quite ironic. But which causes global warming faster, more sunlight or more greenhouse gasses?

Methane and carbon dioxide are the worst.

As long as we rely on automobile transportation, there will be pollution. All forms of combustion engine/electric motor use can be traced back to fossil fuels.

Yep so unless we all plan to go back to bicycles....we need to figure it out.  I for one will not be riding a bike.

Also I will believe it is serious when the attendees to the climate meeting do not arrive in their private jets. This post was edited by my2cents at February 7, 2021 8:49 AM MST

Folks think electric cars are the answer, but they have to get their charging electricity from somewhere...fossil fuel power plants. To me a solution is algae. It is free, emits oxygen, has a cheap source of carbon dioxide (power plants), and can be used to create other products, such as fuel for power plants.

Yes. And we do not have the capiticy to even power all of them on our electric grid.
Even solar requires oil to produce the panels.
I have heard about the possibilities of algae before.
