How many lives could have been saved if everyone were given the exact same care that FOOTOO got?

Allegedly FOOTOO was much sicker than they let on. His oxygen levels had PLUNGED and they feared they'd have to put him on a ventilator. But through whatever protocols they followed and experimental drugs he was given he pulled through and seems to be just fine.

Without that extraordinary care he might have died or been very ill and had permanent damage had he survived.

Of course we can never know how many of the hundreds of thousands or millions worldwide have died would have been made well as he was but it is a question that cannot be ignored. Why isn't that level of care provided to everyone? Why is it only the "rich and famous" or politically powerful that are considered worth saving whatever the cost?

I don't know the answer to that. Do you?
