Setting aside/excluding those afflicted with dementia or the effects of drug/alcohol abuse does IQ usually increase/decrease as we age?

Many things affect I.Q including a healthy diet, mentally healthy attitude/outlook, exercise and constantly being plugged in to what's going on around you.

Do you feel smarter now than you did at 30 or less smart?  Are you more more confident about your cognitive abilities or less? Has your comprehension improved over the years so that you find things easier to grasp? Can you read between the lines...infer what is implied if not outright stated?
