With the following do you agree "neither a borrower nor a lender be"? Know what the rest of the quote is?

"For loan oft loses both itself and friend and borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry".

To husband means to be frugal


It appears in Shakespeare (where else?) Polonious says it

to his son Laertes
