Those who live in the current moment only have no clue about what lies ahead is often based upon what they do NOW. Can't foresee it so there is no planning for it.
Those who live in the current moment with short-terms plan fare a bit better. But not by much. Often when, what, and how we do today has very long-term consequences.
Of course best is to live in the current moment and at the same time see ahead, consider the consequences of what they do and say today. So when tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow arrives they're prepared for it.
