T he Bridgegate fiasco is in  play. Poor Christie. His underling subordinates didn't feel like falling on the sword for him. So what comes next and is his political carrer over?

See what happens when someone lies? eventually it catches up to you aren't you better off owning up to it?

Ya know Tom I don't mind the lie so much. It's what people who have to cheat to win do all the time. What ticks me off majorly is the coverup and denial. They just make everything much worse for themselves. Just admit it and take the flak that getting caught in a lie deserves. It takes an ignoramus to deny what can be proved to be true.  I have no idea what they use for "brains" but it ain't working! Thank you for your reply. I tell it like I see it and take the flak up front and get it over with and move on. I don't want to worry about  being caught in a lie. That would be way more painful for me than to be verbally smacked/attacked/insulted because of my views. :) This post was edited by RosieG at October 23, 2016 5:07 AM MDT

I'm not at all surprised.  There's no way something that big could happen without Christie knowing.

If he were really ignorant of what was going in his office Spunky he would be a major dumbbell and totally unequipped/unfit to be Governor of New Jersey. Either way he is screwed. He is either a liar or dumb as a brick wall (no offense to brick walls..I don't know all of them). Thank you for your reply! :)

Whether he knew or not, he's dumber than a box of hair and unfit to be governor.

I usually say "dumber than a brick wall" Spunky but I like yours better. If I use it I will give attribution "to an Answermug friend"! Hair is pretty dumb after all isn't it? I have never heard it speak one word. Though to be fair I have never heard a brick wall say anything either! Thank you for your reply! :)

Feel free to use that phrase - I stole it from someone else, but can no longer remember who.  Happy Monday.  :)
