When you use the words of others to make a point you ALWAYS put them in quotation marks don't you so the reader will know they aren't YOURS?

Otherwise you are stealing the credit of others or getting slammed because of it.

Clarity and precision in communication is ESSENTIAL to actually communicating. DUh.
