I do not see/understand why "an eye for an eye" is considered to be savage barbaric inhumane. It is just and fitting. Why is that so wrong?
It lacks mercy. SO WHAT? Why extend mercy to the unmerciful? That makes no sense at all.
Is it supposed to insure your place in heaven? Seriously?
